Job Summary
Current active licensing in at least one Low Voltage Security Area (Access Control, CCTV, Alarm, and/or Commercial Fire) is required for application.
We are seeking a licensed Security Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems for residential and commercial customers independently or as part of a team. This role requires a blend of mechanical and electronic expertise.
Duties
- Install camera surveillance, burglar and fire alarm, intercom, gate, and access control systems.
- Install audio-visual, cable network, wifi mesh, and home integration systems.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure secure remote access software is effectively utilized.
- Program and test various low-voltage systems.
- Provide training and support to customers on system usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networking, software, and hardware associated with security systems.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to security system installation and maintenance.
- Experience with cabling techniques for effective installation of security devices.
- Knowledgeable in surveillance technology, including installation, configuration, and programming of cameras and recording devices.
- Understanding of basic construction processes.
- Competent in using power tools safely and effectively for installation tasks.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
