Job Summary:
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, manage staff, assist with customer service, and help drive sales. You’ll play a key role in building a motivated team and maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the car wash facility
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
- Train, coach, and supervise team members to achieve performance goals
- Assist with hiring, interviews, and onboarding of new employees
- Handle transactions and oversee cash handling procedures
- Maintain inventory and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Help create team schedules and assist with payroll duties
- Address customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Learn car wash equipment operations and perform light maintenance as needed
- Support the General Manager with operational and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in customer service or retail management
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Ability to manage shifts, train staff, and support sales initiatives
- Comfortable with handling cash and operating a POS system
- Willingness to learn technical aspects of car wash operations
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
