Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations; respond promptly to any issues or concerns.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory while managing time effectively during busy shifts such as nightlife hours or banquet events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless food and beverage service in both restaurant and nightclub settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; hospitality background preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales tracking; attention to detail is critical.
- Experience with serving in catering or retail environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus.
