- Must have drivers license and ability to drive all over Luzerne County
- Must have Bachelors degree in Human Services or related fields
- Must have clean record and in accordance with the CPSL, possess
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance
- Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal History Clearance
Description:
- Contacting families eligible for the Il program
- Provide intake assessments and one-on-one service to new eligible youth entering the IL program
- Coordinate transportation
- Development and implementation of weekly Life Skills curriculum. Topics will be based on the needs of current group participants. Topics include: Money Management; Work skills/Job Skills; Resume building; cooking; Health awareness; Relationship and Communication building; Public transportation; Housing; Career planning; and Education planning
- Partnering with community social service agencies, businesses, banks, institutions of higher education, military branches, and other related agencies that can provide additional support services to Life Skill Group participants.
- Coordinating mentoring service delivery to Life Skill Group Participants
- Connecting with various other systems, such as CYF caseworkers, court, JPO officers etc.
- Any and all duties of the program as necessary
