Duties
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates via ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS or Lever, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities such as employee orientation and training programs.
- Oversee employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, facilitating conflict management, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) management, and compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
- Support performance management initiatives by conducting employee evaluations, assisting with goal setting, and implementing performance improvement plans aligned with strategic planning objectives.
- Lead HR projects related to organization design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and workforce management to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Maintain accurate HR data through data collection and entry in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM; analyze data using Excel for reporting purposes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by staying current on employment & labor law updates and managing contracts related to employment terms and HR legal compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with comprehensive knowledge of employment law in talent management.
- Strong skills in human capital management, change management, and project management to support organizational initiatives effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting using ATS platforms such as Taleo or Paylocity; experience with social media management for talent sourcing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate training & development sessions, employee orientation programs, and conflict resolution efforts.
- Proficiency in HR systems like Workday, UltiPro, Kronos, or Dayforce for payroll processing and timekeeping functions.
- Ability to analyze data for HR metrics using Excel data analysis tools; experience with HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or Ceridian is preferred.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including OSHA standards and FMLA requirements; familiarity with contracts and legal compliance documentation is essential.
- Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
