American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position in Virginia, working night shifts with every other weekend required.

Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)

Every other weekend required
-
Active, unrestricted RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a valid Compact RN license
-
Current BLS/CPR certification
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
-
Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care preferred
-
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
-
Ability to lead a team while delivering resident-centered care
-
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
-
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with individualized resident care plans
-
Supervise, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs
-
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
-
Monitor residents for changes in condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
-
Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care planning meetings
-
