Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas to customer specifications. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure the quality and consistency of pizza dough, toppings, and sauces
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with bussing tables and providing excellent customer service as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or pizzeria preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare pizzas of various styles
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Experience with Aloha POS system is a plus
