American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro position requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and night shift availability in Ohio.

Hospital-based Stepdown Neuro unit

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)

13-week contract

Active Ohio RN license or compact state license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments

Minimum 18 months of recent neuro stepdown experience required; travel experience is acceptable

PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required

Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required

Holiday coverage required — must work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any location within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting another assignment at any location within the system
