Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination
- Support staff training and development to ensure high standards of customer service and food safety
- Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and motivate team members to achieve operational goals
- Handle cash transactions, POS system operations such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Supervise food production processes to uphold quality standards in both casual dining and fine dining settings
- Assist with managing food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
- Contribute to profit and loss analysis by tracking sales data, controlling costs, and supporting budgeting efforts
- Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to enhance guest experiences
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food service management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership and staff training capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Hands-on experience with food handling, safety management, inventory control, and kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of hospitality management principles including customer service excellence and food quality standards
- Experience managing budgets, conducting profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost control measures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop team members effectively
- Background in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
