About the role: Emack & Bolio's — the legendary Boston-born, rock-and-roll ice cream brand — is opening a new shop in New York, and we're looking for 2 full-time Ice Cream Servers to join our opening team. As part of our crew, you'll bring hospitality and genuine passion to every scoop, sundae, and shake we serve — someone who thrives independently and as part of a team.
What you'll do
- Prepare and serve our full menu of scoops, sundaes, shakes, and ice cream cakes with care and consistency
- Deliver warm, attentive hospitality to every guest, every visit
- Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked shop throughout each shift
- Develop genuine product knowledge across our flavors and menu to guide guests
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience in food service, retail, or hospitality — ice cream or dessert shop experience is a plus
- A warm, upbeat, pleasing personality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask during rushes
- Reliable availability, including evenings and weekends
Nice to have
- Prior scooping or soft-serve experience
- Cash handling / POS system experience
- Comfort with light cake or novelty decorating
