Peninsula Catholic High School is seeking a qualified Boys’ JV Basketball Coach to oversee the school’s basketball program.

Plan and conduct basketball practices and game preparation.

Teach proper basketball techniques, conditioning, and game strategy.

Assist with offseason conditioning, player recruitment, and program growth.

Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.

Foster a positive and competitive team culture that reflects the mission and values of Peninsula Catholic High School.

Collaborate with school administration, athletic department staff, parents, and community supporters.

Ensure compliance with VISAA, TCIS, and school policies and procedures.

Previous basketball coaching experience, preferably at the high school, club, or collegiate level.

Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, tactics, and player development.

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes

Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Successful completion of required background screening.

VIRTUS certification (or willingness to obtain)
