Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour DOE
Hours: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Our client company is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers, delivering exceptional customer service while handling a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced call center environment.
The ideal Customer Service Representative is a strong communicator who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a team-oriented environment. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy on every interaction.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous customer service or call center experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer and data entry skills

Professional telephone etiquette

Strong attention to detail

Ability to quickly learn new software systems and procedures
Responsibilities include:

Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls (approximately 100 calls per day)

Assist customers with service requests, billing questions, account inquiries, and missed service issues

Provide pricing information and establish new customer accounts

Accurately enter customer information, service details, and billing updates into the company database

Resolve customer concerns professionally while providing outstanding customer service

Retain customers by offering solutions and service alternatives when cancellation requests are received

Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services

Coordinate with Operations, Billing, Sales, and Dispatch departments to resolve customer issues

Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

Meet or exceed established goals for call quality, productivity, response times, and customer satisfaction

Participate in ongoing training and perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Experience:

Customer retention or account management experience

Billing or customer account support

Experience in waste management, utilities, logistics, transportation, or other service-related industries
