Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Current CA Guard Card (or ability to obtain one within 30 days)
- Prior Security, Military or Police experience desired
- Interpersonal communications and Customer Service skills
- Ability to write and compose incident reports and daily logs utilizing correct English grammar and composition, in a legible manner
Position Summary
Healthcare Security Officers work at various healthcare campuses throughout the county for Kaiser Permanente. They act as ambassadors for BCI and our Kaiser Permanente customers, providing a safe and secure campus for members, visitors and staff. The position requires a proactive individual willing to be part of a dynamic security team.
Physical Requirements may include
- Walking for long periods of time
- Climbing stairs
- Lifting to 75 lbs.
- Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
- Carrying up to 50 lbs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Patrol campus interior and exterior, sometimes in inclement weather conditions
- Check for security and safety concerns and take proactive measures to correct
- Enforce Security and Safety regulations on members, visitors and staff
- Provide a visible deterrence to unwanted activity
- Provide customer service for the campus
- Document activities as they occur in the form of logs or reports
Employment is conditional upon successful passing of background and drug screening

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
