Established in 1919, CF. Vatterott and Vatterott Properties are continuing to build its team for its 2nd century of service and commitment to the St. Louis area. Searching for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as our Construction Field Laborer!
Due to the nature of our current projects, New Construction Experience is Required for this role!
Our Construction Field Laborer will perform a variety of responsibilities. Applicants should be familiar with the duties of other skilled trades professionals as well as the tools, materials, and machinery they use. The Laborer role is essential and assists the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of construction projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain exterior and interior work sites during all stages of home construction through to finishing (pile lumber, sort, load/unload, sweep, mop, dust, clean, etc.).
- Remove and properly dispose of trash, debris, and waste materials
- Build and take down scaffolding and temporary structures
- Operate and tend to machinery and heavy equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site
- Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties as directed
- Fire caulking
- Touch up painting
Qualifications Required "Must-Haves":
- New construction or renovation experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Physical strength, stamina and endurance
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Good work ethic
- Honesty and Integrity

- Pride in your work
- Flexible and open to learning new skills
