Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and personable Servers to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Serve food and beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with professionalism and flair
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service based on guest preferences
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink presentation
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Culinary experience or kitchen support skills are a plus for assisting with food prep or supporting kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine desire to enhance the guest experience
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and ensuring seamless service delivery
