Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on IT Network Specialist to support and maintain IT operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses primarily on systems administration, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365 technologies, while also providing support for end-user and production-related IT needs. The IT Network Specialist will serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues and work closely with the IT Manager to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all IT systems supporting both office and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support factory IT Infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and end-user devices
- Administer and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Microsoft 365 services
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and Share Point administration
- Configure and maintain device management, security policies, conditional access, and endpoint compliance through Microsoft Intune
- Administer and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, switches, FortiGate firewalls, VPN connectivity, and wireless infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership and act as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues
- Collaborate with external vendors and global IT teams as needed
- Assist with system monitoring, data backups, disaster recovery, and implementation of cybersecurity best practice

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or IT Operations
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial IT environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, including Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online
- Experience managing FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, network security, and connectivity troubleshooting
- SAP experience (user support and/or system interaction) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs (e.g., desktops, monitors, network devices)
- Comfortable working on-site in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise and varying temperatures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods when supporting factory operations
- Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., under desks, server rooms, network racks)
- Manual dexterity to handle cables, tools, and small components
- Ability to use ladders or step stools when necessary
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
