Job Summary
The Rebuild Technician at Repair Authority is responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, refurbishment, and rebuilding of oxygen concentrator related components. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow standardized work instructions, and a commitment to producing high-quality rebuilt components while maintaining production efficiency and safety standards.
All technicians begin their training in the Disassembly Department, where they develop a strong understanding of the various sieve bed models, component identification, and production processes before progressing through each stage of the rebuild operation.
Duties
- Unbox incoming shipments and boxing outgoing shipments.
- Accurately count and verify incoming inventory.
- Identify various concentrator and associated components.
- Disassemble concentrator into components and subassembly using hand and power tools.
- Sort, organize, and label components according to model specifications.
- Remove and dispose of material following company procedures.
- Other rebuild related task
- Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or production concerns to the Production Manager.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
- Clean components according to company standards.
- Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects.
- Separate reusable and non-reusable components.
- Organize cleaned components on designated production racks.
- Report damaged or unusable parts to supervision.
- Rebuild and refurbish subassemblies.
- Replace worn or damaged components as needed.
- Follow established work instructions and quality standards.
- Verify proper fit and function of rebuilt components.
Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and move equipment weighing 50–75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout an 8–10 hour shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to distinguish colors, read gauges, and perform detailed visual inspections of equipment and components.
- Ability to safely operate equipment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
