American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele float pool position requiring MS/Tele experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Hospital-based float pool role covering Medical, Medical Surgical, Surgical, ICU Stepdown, Cardiology, Rehab, and Neurology units

Patient population includes Med/Surg, Ortho, Neurology, Cardiology, and General Surgical cases
-
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts

Typical patient ratios are 1:6 on nights
-
Uses Epic EMR and candidates must be able to work independently with no training provided

Required to float between multiple units as needed

Navy blue scrubs required

Active WA or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required

MS/Tele unit experience with telemetry required

Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred

Prior travel nursing experience required, though candidates with 4+ years of inpatient experience may be considered without travel experience

Must be able to work independently in Epic with no orientation to the system

Proof of application for Washington state license required at time of consideration if not already in hand

Proof of full vaccination required

Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical and specialty units as part of a float pool

Mandatory orientation attendance required, held every other Monday starting with a classroom session followed by unit orientation

Some holiday coverage may be required depending on the unit

Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers

Previous PeaceHealth employees must disclose facility and dates of prior employment, and must have been separated from the PeaceHealth system for at least 12 months before returning

This is a newly implemented float pool, and candidates with multiple staffing or behavioral concerns may not be considered

First-time travelers may be considered if they have 4+ years of inpatient experience
