Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on client preferences and skin tones
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and industry techniques to offer innovative services
- Upsell retail products such as nail care items, polishes, and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of workstations and sterilization of tools according to health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that promotes client retention and loyalty
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with hands-on expertise in nail care services
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols in a salon setting
- Familiarity with advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, barbering, and retail math is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Ability to upsell products confidently while providing excellent customer service
- Experience working with diverse client preferences and offering customized solutions based on individual styles
- Certification in cosmetology or related beauty disciplines is preferred but not mandatory
