Airline Simulator Instructor — Vegas Flight Deck
Vegas Flight Deck is a first-of-its-kind flight simulation entertainment center coming to Las Vegas. We're assembling a team of aviation professionals, hospitality experts, and experience designers who share one goal: giving every guest the most unforgettable hour of their life.
We're currently in pre-launch mode, building our founding team. These are the roles that will define our culture, our standards, and our reputation from day one.
Help Us Put Las Vegas Behind the Flight Deck
Vegas Flight Deck is building something unlike anything else in Las Vegas: an immersive, true-to-life airline flight experience that puts guests directly in the captain's seat.
This isn't a theme-park ride. It isn't a video game. It's a professionally designed flight simulation experience built around authentic airline procedures, realistic aircraft systems, full-motion simulator platforms, massive LED visual environments, and—most importantly—the knowledge and experience of pilots who have actually flown these aircraft.
We're looking for Airline Simulator Instructors to join our founding team and help define what this experience becomes.
Our guests will range from aviation enthusiasts and corporate groups to first-time flyers, aspiring pilots, experienced private pilots, and current or former airline professionals. Your job will be to make every guest feel like they're stepping onto the flight deck for the first time—and leaving with an experience they'll never forget.
The Opportunity
As an Airline Simulator Instructor, you'll combine your real-world airline experience with exceptional communication and hospitality skills.
You'll sit alongside guests in highly realistic airline flight decks and guide them through everything from basic aircraft handling to airline-style procedures, abnormal situations, instrument approaches, and challenging flight scenarios.
Some guests may have thousands of hours of flight experience. Others may have never touched a flight control in their lives.
Personality matters just as much as experience. We're looking for pilots who can take complex aviation concepts and make them understandable, exciting, and engaging for anyone.
You'll be part instructor, part pilot, part storyteller, and part host.
Aircraft & Simulator Experience
Our simulator fleet is planned to include highly immersive airline flight decks representing aircraft such as:
- Boeing 737 MAX 8
- Airbus A320
- Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Our simulator environments will feature full-motion platforms and large-format LED visual systems, creating an exceptionally realistic experience for both aviation professionals and the general public.
While these platforms are not Level D full-flight simulators, they are designed to deliver an extremely immersive and realistic flight-deck experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, professional, and entertaining simulator sessions for members of the general public, aviation enthusiasts, pilots, corporate groups, and other guests.
- Provide hands-on guidance in realistic airline flight-deck environments.
- Introduce guests to aircraft systems, flight controls, cockpit procedures, and airline operating concepts.
- Lead guests through normal, abnormal, and emergency flight scenarios appropriate to their experience level.
- Demonstrate airline-style procedures, decision-making, communication, and cockpit resource management.
- Provide instruction on takeoffs, landings, instrument approaches, navigation, and other flight scenarios.
- Adapt each session to the individual guest—from someone flying a simulator for the first time to an experienced professional pilot.
- Create an environment that is educational, entertaining, safe, and memorable.
- Provide constructive feedback while building guest confidence and aviation knowledge.
- Help develop and continuously improve Flight Deck Vegas training programs, lesson plans, scenarios, and customer experiences.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, safety, hospitality, and presentation.
- Represent Flight Deck Vegas as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador of aviation.
- Work collaboratively with the Flight Deck Vegas operations and management team as we build and refine the guest experience.

- Experience operating or teaching in flight simulators is a plus.
The Most Important Qualification: Personality
We're looking for pilots who love aviation and love people.
You should be comfortable standing in front of a group, explaining complicated concepts in simple terms, telling stories from your aviation experience, and keeping guests engaged throughout their experience.
Our instructors will interact with people from all over the world, many of whom may have dreamed about sitting in an airline cockpit their entire lives.
The ideal candidate is:
- Confident and professional
- Outgoing and personable
- An excellent communicator
- Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups

- Passionate about aviation
- Safety-minded and detail-oriented

This Is More Than a Simulator Job
Flight Deck Vegas is being built around a simple idea:
Everyone should have the opportunity to experience what it's like to sit in the flight deck.
For some guests, it will be their first time flying an aircraft.
For others, it may be a chance to revisit a career they loved.
For aspiring pilots, it may be the experience that inspires them to pursue aviation.
And for experienced pilots, it will be an opportunity to sharpen their skills, share their knowledge, and experience some of the world's most recognizable airline flight decks in a completely new environment.
Our instructors will be at the center of that experience.
