As the owner of Smiling with Hope Pizza, in Reno, NV, my goal is to create a friendly, family-style environment and culture. We are open for lunch, dine-in and take-out six (6) days per week. All positions are part-time, additional hours will be available to cover peak service hours.
Job Description
We are looking for pizzeria staff who enjoy working as part of a team in a family-style pizzeria to prepare high-quality pizzas according to customers’ orders. Responsibilities include welcoming all guests in a warm and friendly manner, accurately preparing pizza orders, ingredient preparation, answering phone calls for pizza orders, cash out customers, perform dishwasher/busser duties, and perform other duties as assigned.
Must be a committed, flexible, communicative team player with excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting while adhering to all food safety regulations and procedures.
Must have experience in and/or willingness to learn dough stretching process to assist during high volume service hours.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Preparing pizza dough, toppings such as peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats.
Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes.
Monitoring inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low as needed.
Cleaning workstations and restaurant before and after pizza preparation.
Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly.
Managing all food orders and ensuring that orders are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain a harmonious relationship with all employees
Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and dining area
Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
Staff Requirements:
Minimum High school diploma or GED.
A food handler’s license is preferred.
Proven food preparation and food handling experience preferred.
Proven experience with hand-stretching pizza dough preferred.
Work schedule MUST be flexible to meet pizzeria hours to include evenings and weekends
The ability to follow standardized topping directions and weigh ingredients

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
