Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing (State of NC or Compact state)
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Telemetry unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Solid assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
- A collaborative spirit ready to adapt to new teams and protocols
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care for telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac status and responding to changes
- Safely administer medications, interpret EKGs, and provide clear patient education
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient histories, conditions, and progress accurately
- Provide support during emergencies, utilizing strong assessment skills
- Foster a compassionate, patient-centered approach in all interactions
