We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents while ensuring laundry services are completed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications of Environmental Services / Laundry Aide:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Flexible schedule with a strong work ethic
Responsibilities of Environmental Services / Laundry Aide:
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Properly handle cleaning products and supplies
- Replenish housekeeping supplies as needed
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests
- Work collaboratively with staff to support a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
