Pay Details:
For Locals: $62/hr to $67/hr
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $75.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pa Rate: $2,700.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $23.67
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $852.12
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,847.88
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $78.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,808.00
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a strong background in Telemetry and Neurology. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment and deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Care for patients with neurological and medical-surgical diagnoses.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Float to similar units based on patient care needs.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Strong Telemetry and Neurology experience
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
Preferred
- Strong MEDITECH experience
Additional Information
- Telemetry competency test administered on the first day of orientation.
- Floating to similar units may be required.
