Design the Next Generation of High-Pressure Pump Systems
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with direct experience in API 674 surface reciprocating plunger pump design within frac or pressure pumping environments.
This role offers hands-on ownership of fluid-end and power-end development, working from concept through validation and field performance.
If you have designed high-pressure plunger pumps inside an OEM environment and want greater technical ownership over the product platform, this is worth a conversation.
About the Company
Jereh Group is a global manufacturer of high-pressure pump systems, pressure control equipment, and integrated oilfield solutions supporting fracturing and pressure pumping operations worldwide.
Our Houston facility designs, manufactures, tests, and supports high-duty plunger and frac pump systems for the North American market, collaborating closely with global R&D and manufacturing teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop API 674 surface reciprocating plunger pump systems
- Own fluid-end components including valve seats, suction/discharge modules, stuffing boxes, and high-pressure manifolds
- Support power-end assemblies including crankshafts, crossheads, connecting rods, and drive systems
- Perform stress, fatigue, and performance validation analysis
- Lead failure analysis and reliability improvements
- Support FAT, SIT, and field validation testing
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain on DFM improvements
- Work directly with global engineering teams on product alignment and execution
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5–15 years of experience designing high-pressure reciprocating pump systems
- Direct experience with API 674 plunger or frac pump platforms
- Experience within an OEM manufacturer of pressure pumping or frac equipment
- Experience with fluid-end mechanical design and validation
- Proficiency with CAD and mechanical analysis tools
- Working knowledge of API standards related to pressure pumping equipment
Highly Valued Background
- Experience with frac pump systems operating 15,000+ PSI
- Exposure to leading pressure pumping OEM environments
- Hands-on validation, field troubleshooting, and product upgrades
Why This Role Stands Out
- Direct influence over pump platform development
- True design ownership, not just maintenance support
- Collaboration with global R&D and manufacturing teams
- Houston-based with direct access to testing and manufacturing
- Growing product line with long-term market focus
