Your Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00AM–3:00PM, Friday overtime as needed
- Schedule flexibility available based on business needs
What You'll Do:
- Fabricate and assemble weld fixtures from engineering drawings using welding, machining, and fabrication tools
- Perform production and prototype welding on new and existing products as part of the NPI process
- Test and validate fixtures on the floor; communicate findings back to engineering for revisions and improvements
- Support the production welding team as needed, including filling in weld cells to meet schedule demands (MIG, TIG, and/or robotic)
- Identify fixture and process inefficiencies and recommend improvements as part of continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade existing fixtures to minimize production downtime
- Help maintain fixture storage organization, accessibility, and inventory condition
- Follow all safety standards
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, relevant trade/technical schooling, or a combination
- Highly skilled in MIG, TIG, and/or robotic welding; certification a plus
- Ability to read and work from CAD-generated drawings
- Familiarity with fixturing concepts, fabrication tools, and manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Comfortable with measuring tools; strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
All candidates complete a blueprint comprehension test and a hands-on weld evaluation.
