Job Description:
The HR Business Partner responsibilities include serving as a strategic partner to plant leadership within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, supporting all aspects of human resources while aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role is responsible for driving employee engagement, talent development, compliance, workforce planning, and operational effectiveness. The HR Business Partner works closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive workplace culture, provide guidance on employee relations matters, support organizational growth, and ensure the consistent application of HR policies and best practices across the facility.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year (DOE)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Partner with plant leadership to support workforce planning, organizational development, and business objectives.
-Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
-Investigate and resolve employee concerns, complaints, and disciplinary matters while promoting positive employee relations.
-Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and employee development programs.
-Coordinate training initiatives and identify workforce development opportunities.
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
-Manage day-to-day HR operations including benefits administration, attendance tracking, HRIS maintenance, and reporting.
-Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and headcount to support business decisions.
-Support compensation planning, workforce initiatives, audits, and HR documentation requirements.
-Collaborate with corporate and global HR teams on projects, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
-Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
-Manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based HR experience required.
-Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations best practices.
-Experience conducting investigations and resolving workplace issues.
-Proficiency with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and HR analytics.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
-Automotive manufacturing experience, particularly within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier environment, is preferred.”
-Bilingual Korean/English language skills are a plus.
