Job Summary
Our growing manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist who has Mazak experience to enhance the productivity of our organization. A successful candidate can work with CNC conversational (Mazatrol) machinery from complete setup to operation to produce quality parts from mainly aluminum and steel or other materials.
Duties:
- Setup and make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed, and path of cut, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, running efficiently, and producing quality product
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Ensure machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output
- Inspect finished product to ensure quality using precision measurement instruments
- Work individually and with others to ensure delivery dates are met
- Communicate with our production team on a daily basis
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role (2 years minimum)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with Mazatrol controls preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
