We are looking to hire a kennel attendant. The role requires an animal lover as this job is very hands-on with providing care to the pets we board. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong work ethic who has a desire to learn and excel within our organization. No prior experience is needed but is always a plus. We will train in the right person in all responsibilities and animal care, behavior and handling.
Job responsibilities include:
- Feeding, watering and medicating pets.
- Maintain and ensure proper sanitation protocols are followed to ensure facility cleanliness and safety at all times.
- Proper cleaning and laundering of animal luggage in our laundry room.
- Perform activities with pets and take photos/videos during activity times.
- Placing pets in proper runs/enclosures and bringing pets to owners.
- Tending to the mental well-being by providing enrichment services, toys, etc.. that is necessary to all breeds and sizes of pets
- Letting animals in/outside for proper relief and exercise. Including walking dogs for potty breaks.
- Maintain proper physical appearance while ensuring that you are in clothes that can get wet or bleached.
- Will help handle animals when necessary for grooming, medication, training, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
- Must have great attention to detail
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Payrate: $10.00 / hr
