We're hiring an RN Nurse Lead – Labor & Delivery in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA. If you have strong clinical leadership experience and are looking for your next contract, this is an excellent opportunity.
13-Week Contract
Night Shift (3 x 12s | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
36 Hours Per Week
No Call Required
Level III NICU & Trauma Center
Work with an experienced Labor & Delivery team in one of California's most desirable coastal communities.
✔ Active California RN License
✔ 5+ Years of Labor & Delivery Nursing Experience
✔ Minimum 2 Years of Supervisor or Nurse Leadership Experience
✔ Previous Charge Nurse Experience (Required)
✔ Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications
✔ AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification (completed within the last 2 years)
Lead and support the Labor & Delivery team during your shift
Coordinate patient flow and staffing assignments
Provide hands-on clinical support as needed
Mentor and coach nursing staff
Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
Partner with physicians and leadership to deliver outstanding maternal and newborn care
