Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school-based OT setting is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively serve a diverse K-12 caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions for students
- Contribute to IEP development, present findings to IEP teams, and document progress clearly
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student access to educational environments
- Provide education and training to staff regarding students’ OT needs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant regulations
