About OhanaCare PPEC
OhanaCare PPEC is seeking a compassionate and motivated new graduate Registered Nurse to join our growing pediatric team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your clinical skills while caring for medically complex children in a supportive, family-centered environment.
As one of our first clinical team members, you'll receive mentorship from experienced nursing leadership while gaining hands-on experience in pediatric nursing. As OhanaCare continues to grow, you'll have opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge and take on additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate and support children and their families
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid, AHCA, and PPEC regulations
- Help create a safe, engaging, and compassionate environment for children
Professional Development

- Development and management of Individualized Plans of Care (POCs)
- Care coordination and interdisciplinary communication
- Medicaid documentation and regulatory compliance
- Quality assurance and clinical documentation

QualificationsRequired
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole)
Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
