Montessori of Chantilly - Casa dei Bambini was established in 2005. We are located near Stone Springs Hospital. MCDB has students from 10 weeks to 6 years. We are seeking an AMS/AMI credentialed Primary teacher who is warm, nurturing, and committed to the traditional Montessori principles and philosophy to take over an existing Mixed-Age Primary classroom. The teacher should be able to respect the uniqueness of each child, keep accurate academic records, communicate effectively with parents through emails, phone calls and in person, uphold school policies and be a team player. This teacher may also serve as the Academic Director who guides other Primary Lead Teachers and provides a bridge with the infant/toddler program.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- AMS or AMI Montessori Certificate in Early Childhood Education
- An Associates / Bachelor’s Degree
- Passion for working with children and developing their love of learning
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to nurture strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Genuine skill and interest in planning and facilitating activities, crafts and science experiments for students
- Availability to work one of the following weekly shifts:
- 8 am – 5 pm
