We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide occupational therapy services to our residents on an as-needed basis. Occupational Therapist (OTR) Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to our residents on an as-needed basis, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and overall well-being
- Conduct assessments, set goals, and evaluate progress in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Educate and train residents, family members, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal outcomes
Occupational Therapist (OTR) Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, with experience working with geriatric populations preferred
- Current Occupational Therapy (OTR) license in the state of Missouri
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals
