Elevate Custom Kitchens is a growing company specializing in custom cabinetry, residential construction, new builds and renovations. We are seeking a talented Kitchen Designer / Draftsperson to join our team and help bring our clients' projects to life.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in both kitchen design and construction drafting.
Responsibilities:
- Create estimates, drawings, renderings, and design revisions.
- Design functional and attractive kitchen layouts.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and plans using AutoCAD and 20/20 Design.
- Assist clients with the selection of cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and other finishes.
- Handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Prepare cabinet drawings for production.
- Work closely with homeowners, project managers, and trades to ensure project success.
- Assist in managing the installation of projects.
- Revise drawings and designs as projects progress.
- Assist with permit and construction drawing packages when required.
Requirements:
- Experience with 20/20 Design and AutoCAD.
- Experience in kitchen design, residential construction, cabinetry, or drafting.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality.
