Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Barber or Stylist to join our Coral Gables team. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and passionate about men’s grooming. You should be skilled in a variety of barbering techniques and dedicated to delivering an outstanding client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, and grooming services
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with state regulations
- Create a welcoming, friendly environment for all clients
- Stay up to date on modern grooming trends, tools, and techniques
- Manage appointments and walk-in clients efficiently
- Promote shop services and grooming products when appropriate
- Adhere to all Florida licensing and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida barber/cosmetology license
- Strong technical skills in cutting, fading, razor work, and beard detailing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Previous barbershop experience preferred, but motivated newcomers are welcome
