Announcement of Search for Bus Drivers
Idaho Novus Classical Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school, and a member of the Hillsdale College K-12 Charter School Initiative. Our building is located in the Avimor Community of Eagle, Idaho, approximately 16-miles north of downtown Boise. The mission of Idaho Novus Classical Academy is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility. To accomplish this mission, we offer students an American classical education.
We are conducting a search for mission aligned bus drivers for positions available right now.
Bus Driver Qualifications
· 21 years of age
· Clean driving record
· 3 years or more of personal driving experience
Prospective bus drivers must be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and criminal background check.
Experienced bus drivers that have a CDL with P and S endorsements as well as airbrake endorsement are preferred, but Idaho Novus Classical Academy will provide paid training for good drivers without school bus experience.
We are seeking full route AM/PM drivers. These routes are anticipated to average about 20 hours per week.
The starting wage for experienced bus drivers is $23.00 per hour.
Drivers who require initial training will be paid $17.00 per hour during training and will start at $22.00 per hour.
