Position Overview:
The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Host/Hostess will oversee for greeting guests, managing reservations, providing accurate wait times, seating guests efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with local and state regulations, including California’s health, safety, and labor laws.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:
o Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive.
o Manage the waitlist and reservations using the restaurant’s booking system.
o Escort guests to their tables while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
o Communicate wait times effectively and provide accurate estimates.
o Ensure the lobby and entrance areas, hallways and bathrooms remain clean and organized.
o Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to balance table flow and ensure a smooth dining experience.
o Assist with guest inquiries, including menu information and restaurant policies.
o Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with Los Angeles regulations.
o Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
o Responsible for answering and managing all phone calls in the most professional matter.
o Assist customers with takeout orders, 3rd party orders and order pickups while ensuring order accuracy.
o Maintain a friendly and energetic attitude throughout shifts.
o Follow all company policy and procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.87 per hour
