Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Cashier Bartender to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and handle cashier responsibilities with accuracy. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle cashier duties including processing payments accurately, giving correct change, and managing cash register operations.
- Serve food items when required, ensuring proper food safety and handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, counters, and seating areas.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista, in food service, or retail environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and café operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
