The Washington Pavilion Management, Inc. (WPMI) is seeking enthusiastic, talented, and student-focused Voice Instructors to join the newly launched Spotlight Voice Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to help clients of all ages develop healthy vocal technique, confidence, and a lifelong love of music in a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Whether you are preparing for auditions, performances, or simply discovering the joy of singing, you'll play an important role in helping them achieve their goals.
Part-Time | Hourly
As a Voice Instructor, you will:

Teach engaging private, semi-private, and group voice lessons.

Develop individualized instruction based on each clients's goals, abilities, and experience.

Prepare clients for performances, auditions, showcases, and competitions as appropriate.

Recommend lesson materials and repertoire that support client growth.

Maintain lesson notes and client records using the Academy's scheduling system.

Communicate professionally with clients regarding scheduling and client progress.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming teaching environment.

Participate in coaching, professional development, and ongoing collaboration with the Teaching Team Lead.

Support client recruitment and retention through recitals, showcases, and occasional community events.

Follow all Washington Pavilion policies and procedures, including safety requirements.

Support the mission, vision, and values of the Washington Pavilion.
Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance, Music Education, Musical Theatre, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Previous experience teaching voice lessons to children, teens, and/or adults.

Strong knowledge of healthy vocal technique and age-appropriate vocal pedagogy.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

The ability to work collaboratively with fellow instructors and Academy staff.

A passion for helping clients build confidence and achieve their musical goals.
Voice Instructors establish their teaching availability during the Academy's operating hours:
Monday–Saturday | 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Hours subject to change.)
Availability and teaching schedules are based on client enrollment. Instructors are expected to maintain consistent availability and commit to teaching a minimum of six (6) hours per week, although weekly hours may vary based on client demand.
