```Duties```
- Perform basic medical procedures and assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Update medication lists as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and insurance verification and billing
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications and testing
-Help to maintain a clean working enviroment within the office
```Experience```
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, such as insurance verification and billing
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications and testing
Skills:
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques
- Excellent patient care skills, including empathy and compassion
- Proficient in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Competent in taking accurate vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
