Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic To-go Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests by ensuring their takeout orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, contributing to a positive dining experience even when guests are not dining in.
Responsibilities
- Accurately take and process to-go orders using the POS system.
- Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met and provide assistance as needed.
- Prepare orders for pick-up, ensuring all items are included and presented well.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest services.
- Ability to help guests effectively, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is highly desirable.
