Job Summary
Join Emma Lynn Design, a residential interior design firm working on an array of projects, always aiming to design fabulous and functional interiors while keeping our clients needs at the top of our priority list. This paid internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop your skills in design concepts, product procurement, and 3D modeling. You'll collaborate on design, attend site visits, learn from local vendors and sub contractors that we have close working relationships with, contribute to real projects, and gain invaluable industry experience. Duties
- Product procurement from various b2b suppliers and vendors
- Help prepare renderings and presentations using SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Programa.
- Collect accurate on-site measurements
- Participate in client meetings by assisting with presentations, mood boards, color schemes, and lighting design proposals.
Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of graphic design principles, color theory, rendering techniques, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with project management practices related to interior design projects including budgeting and scheduling.
