City Kids Day School is a private, play-based early childhood program serving 12 to 14 children daily ages 2–5 in the heart of San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood. For over 13 years, our approach has integrated both Reggio Emilia and Montessori pedagogies, with a strong focus on hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration. Our curriculum promotes curiosity and creativity through both child-led and teacher-guided learning experiences. Children explore their interests through projects and collaborative activities. We encourage and instill independence, allowing children to learn at their own pace and develop practical life skills. We treat the surrounding community as an extension of our classroom, with daily outings and real-world experiences. We use the community to also participate in non-profit, community building programs.

Qualifications but not limited too:
- Currently enrolled in or completed 12+ ECE units AND OR working toward a degree in early childhood education or a related field
- Experience working with children in a preschool setting, AND OR, licensed in-home childcare facility ages 2-5
- Solid understanding of early childhood development and education.
- Most importantly, must enjoy nurturing, listening to, guiding, and spending time with children!
