LTL AND PROJECT SHIPPING SPECIALIST – JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review all initial order information for Tribeca, St Martin and AM accounts
- Ensure order is placed on the schedules as necessary
- Review daily production to ensure the order is complete on time
- Main contact with the dealer to provide updates of LTL shipping process
- Review delivery address, phone numbers and services required
- Alert dealer to any delays in shipping
- Follow up with each warehouse on status of LTL Pallet Paperwork
- Call out any special requirements for shipping by acknowledging oversized products that require special handling
- Review all Pallet photos to insure the SOP is followed
- Schedule LTL freight using UniShippers and other comparable companies for the best rate and service level
- Follow up with dealer to provide final shipping date from our warehouse including Freight company information and BOL
- Follow up with freight company to ensure there are no delays in final delivery expectations
- Organize all LTL shipping data to calculate costs and profits or loss to the company
- Provide quarterly updates of data
- Review shipping patterns to maximize future savings
- Compare large LTL freight orders to dedicated TL pricing
- Review all upcoming deliveries for Project Management
- Assist with price negotiation for carriers in all locations of Project Management
- Track all warehouses with parked trailers and manage loading sequence
- Book all transportation with approved carriers, secure the BOL and ensure each warehouse has the BOL and loading instructions
- Organize and track billing by project and highlight additional fees
- Additional projects as assigned by manager
- Cross train for scheduling/sales/claims
- Cross training for Logistics of all company trucks for Tribeca and St Martin
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
