Duties
- Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Support technicians in troubleshooting equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and ohmmeters.
- Help with mechanical systems repair and maintenance tasks such as welding, plumbing, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Prepare job sites by handling hand tools, mechanical systems repair tools, and safety equipment to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Learn to interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to support accurate system installation and repairs.
- Aid in electrical diagnostics for HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC system upkeep and service technician activities to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Construction experience or prior exposure to mechanical or plumbing work is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical diagnostics, or appliance repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and basic mechanical systems repair enhances your candidacy.
- Customer service skills are important for communicating effectively with clients during installations or service calls.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to follow detailed schematics and safety procedures diligently; EPA certification or willingness to obtain is advantageous.

Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per day
