Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating equipment such as various types of remote cranes.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Operate heavy equipment including clamp trucks and forklifts to transport materials
- Perform order picking using a warehouse management system
- Ensure accuracy in picking orders and maintaining inventory records
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to management
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Proficient in order picking and materials handling techniques
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as clamp trucks and forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
