Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will ensure timely, safe deliveries while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. What you’ll do
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes
- Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Comply strictly with FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for transporting dangerous goods
- Manage logistics cargo handling by securing loads properly and performing routine vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Deliver freight accurately to multiple destinations while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with various vehicle types such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Ability to handle hazardous materials regulations and dangerous goods transportation safely and responsibly
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments
- Skilled in manual handling techniques for load & unload tasks; forklift certification is a plus
- Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards

Pay: $0.55 - $0.70 per mile
