Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, utilizing knowledge of beverage recipes and mixology techniques
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills
- Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving meals or catering to banquet events
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong background in beverage preparation including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and brewing/craft beer experience
- Experience in fine dining settings or catering environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
