We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative aesthetics team in. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and skin evaluations, to determine suitability for aesthetic procedures
- Administer injectables such as botulinum toxin and dermal fillers with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, aftercare instructions, and potential risks to ensure informed decision-making
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of procedures performed, patient notes, and treatment plans within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Athenahealth
- Collaborate closely with physicians, aestheticians, and other healthcare professionals to develop customized treatment plans that align with patient goals
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Stay current on the latest aesthetic techniques, products, and industry standards through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in with current certification to perform aesthetic procedures
- Proven experience in administering injectables such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, physiology, and skin health to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Experience working within EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and scheduling purposes
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate and build rapport effectively
- Familiarity with medical office procedures, including sterile technique, injection administration, and patient assessment
- Prior experience in dermatology or aesthetics is highly preferred; background in critical care or hospital settings is a plus for comprehensive patient care understanding
